The moment that Twihards have been waiting for since Climax Entertainment picked up the rights to the Twilight books in 2007 has arrived. Bella Swan (Stewart) lastly gets married… in what looks like a Carolina Herrera treat, no less.

Way back when, New York Times film reviewer Manola Dargis gave a facetious but apt opinion when she described Twilight, the first film in the “chronicle”, as meant for the “hot-not-to-trot abstinence set” and Stephenie Meyers’s Mormon ways completely find fulfilment in Breaking Dawn.

Half this film is infatuated up with the wedding and honeymoon, and the other half is Bella’s increasingly survival-threatening pregnancy and Jacob’s split from his one werewolves. Er, yes… didn’t you know? That’s the whole call of getting married, so that you can have children. Never mind the dad’s a vampire, that’s not the tally. The point is, sex only after marriage. Get it?

Carolina Herrera Holds Court at the Beverly Hills Hotel

HERRERA HOLDS COURT: “Possibility for fashion is never ending,” said Carolina Herrera on Monday at the Beverly Hills Breakfast, where the designer touched down for three days to present her Spring 2012 runway show at the ninth annual Saks Fifth Avenue luncheon benefiting Aviva Relatives and Children’s Services. Herrera had flown in Saturday non-stop from Sao Paolo, where she was a speaker at the International Herald Tribune’s Extravagance Business Conference. Sitting in the Polo Lounge in a crinkly cream sleeveless dress, she said, “What pep up is it here? Winter? It’s beautiful.” After Los Angeles, she heads to Paris to control on her CH Carolina Herrera store, part of a 32-store empire she plans to flower next year by adding 15-17 stores worldwide. There are also plans for more Carolina Herrera New York stores, though she declined to expatiate where. Her five-and-a-half year-old Melrose Place shop was among the first to open on the passage and she called it one of her favorites. Herrera also opined on celebrity dressing (“If the take the lead looks fantastic, it’s very good for the designer. If not, it’s very bad for the originator, but not so bad for the star.”), and licensing (“It’s friendly to say you have 20 licenses but better to have a few good ones. For CH I have almost every grade, so I don’t need to do so much.”). She is interested in expanding into knowledgeable in because “people love beautiful houses and homes.” Before she made her way into the luncheon, she greeted the dressers backstage and showed off the peculiar CH Mini Matryoshka bag, a version of which she carries daily, designed for the runway show to correspond the yellow and green bird print, adding, “Always mighty to have a good bag.”
