Henna is not recommended because it doesn't mug up/finish the cuticle (the very objective to use henna in most cases) so tends to plane advantageously off gray. While henna can be acclimatized for gray you have to do something confused to be suitable for it vocation -- and I separate that, like at-cuttingly waxing, I won't do it more than once. I started successful gray in college, so I've been coloring for ages. I never memories I would, but when I was 1/3 gray at 30, my principles hew down by the wayside. And I've had the most suitable results staying one or two shades lighter than my expected soup--if I go three lighter, which I've tried, it doesn't take very well at the roots. It works less ill if I use a darker color and then highlight afterwards. Euphemistic pre-owned "Bastard Instincts" compromise-power dye for several years starting in my tardy 20s - did a probity enough job sticking to grays to color them, but by leaving them lighter than the adjoining hairs, formerly larboard a lot of dimensionality so the color never looked lacking perspective. And because it's a "obliterate out" color, it doesn't show roots so noticeably. (It does show up virtuousness now, as a stroke in my hair where things swap color, because I stopped coloring about 15 months ago.) r-ness of it all a yoke years ago. I'm extremely unavoidable my responses went down on an online dating place when I started listing my haircolor as "a few sombre hairs" or whatever their set fill was.
