County employees, Hair Designs in Canton raise $2320 for breast cancer fund
Cancer Services Program of St. Lawrence County and St. Lawrence County Employees in collaboration with Hair Designs of Canton offered “Pink Hair Extensions” for the month of October to publicize Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The joint attempt raised a combined total of $2,320.
The monies raised were donated to the Gouverneur Subject Women’s Breast Cancer Walk Fund.
Their purpose is to help breast cancer patients during and after treatment that are having monetary difficulties. The funds stay and help breast cancer resigned’s right here in St. Lawrence County.
