The most recent observation has port side scientists puzzled as to details of how the most energetic particles are formed and shown how transitory the complete understanding is of the process.

"After many years of observations and results from the Crab, we consideration we had an understanding of how it worked, and the models predicted an exponential weaken of the emission spectrum above around 10 GeV," said David Williams, adjunct professor of physics at UC Santa Cruz and a colleague of the VERITAS collaboration.

Some possible scenarios to explain the facts have been put forward, but it will take more data, or even a next-generation observatory, to really surmise from the mechanisms behind these gamma-ray pulses, researchers of the study reported.

Very original. He seems to take a Jauron approach to a defense in that he plays pretty root coverages and run fronts, rarely dogs and blitzes even more scarcely ever. This is the blue-print for a defense that plays inconsistently. The offense dictates to you and you turn plays when you can, as opposed to Edwards showing some creativity and attacking an offense’s weaknesses. It’s a defensed that’s prosperous to give up a ton of yardage. The most disappointing parts about it are lack of aggressiveness: there’s no despatch and run, they’re having guys face guard receivers in man coverage, and they’re still relying on Chris Kelsay for archaic rush.

I’m not even sure what they’re identity is on defense… they’re a “wannabe” 3-4, they take advantage of 300 lb lineman out OLB… just stop it and perform upon a damn 4-3 instead of having Chris Kelsay leave into coverage, it’s embarrassing. I’d rather see Danny Batten in there making mistakes and scholarship than watch Kelsay get single blocked while Merriman focused on by OL’s. Expectedly by mid-season the D will have some sort of identity and get a little swagger goin.

Ted Danson times 2 on 'Bored to Death' and 'CSI'

These days, Ted Danson has gone vegan. He laughs at himself as he says it, like: Here's the L.A. guy latching onto his next fad. But what the heck, Danson says it makes him crave better. And that hearty health-food shake he and his actress helpmate, Mary Steenburgen, quaff each morning — well, they indeed look forward to it.

Meanwhile, even apart from his dietary focus, Danson is susceptibilities great these days. And why not?

Two decades after ending his spectacular "Cheers" run, he's been savoring his latest life's work surge on cool shows such as "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (where he and Steenburgen comedically acted out their sincere-life friendship with series star Larry David), and on the spunky legal thriller "Damages" (where Danson played a pitiless corporate billionaire).

Now he's appearing on two other series — simultaneously.

Starting Monday at 9 p.m. EDT, he's back for the third period of the HBO comedy "Bored to Death," where he plays urbane pot-cut off George Christopher.
