HUMOR — The knockout of a fall day.  The leaves are changing into a sea of colors.  Kids are playing sundry sports at all the local parks and schools.  The temperature is not too hot or too polar, and the Chiefs are kicking the Raiders ' ass.

Life is filled with difficulties, trials and tribulations, day in and day out. 

There is m, unless you got fired (which you probably did), your wife, unless she dumped your indolent ass for getting fired (which she probably did), your husband, unless you leftist the unemployed bum (which you probably did), the kids, who you only have to worry about on weekends now—and all the other essence that you ignore.

There is, however, still joy to be had. 

You don't have to go to work anymore, your wife isn't around to get at you and not have sex with you and your kids don't use your television for Xbox 24/7.  No vacillate, you have the dog too—that's usually good.

Most importantly, you have uninterrupted Sundays to observe football (except the weekends you have the kids, but trust me, as a veteran divorced primogenitor, that's easy to work around).

Domestic bliss

 A year ago, the Key Bank of Nigeria (CBN) issued a directive repealing the concept of epidemic banking and limiting the country’s banks to “heart” activities. The regulation has led to a tidal wave of regulatory and restructuring industry for the country’s lawyers.

“The directive has caused a flurry of ­project in the banking sector,” says ­Templars managing alter ego Oghogho Akpata.

Under the directive, banks are granted core banking licences preferably of universal licences. Those currently holding universal licences have the election to either divest or spin off their non-banking operations.

Akpata explains that his solid has been working for the First City Monument Bank to ring-palter commercial banking assets and liabilities worth over $5bn (£3.2bn) from riskier non-banking businesses and activities in compliance with the CBN licensing regulations. In joining, Templars has been advising Guaranty Trust Bank in bond with the divestment of its ­interests in non-core banking businesses.

Relief, joy at Fort Bliss after announcement of Iraq withdrawal

El Paso, Texas (CNN) -- Since 1848, Fort Bliss has been where U.S. soldiers toil, instruct and sweat under the strong Southwest sun before departing for battlegrounds around the society.

It has also been where their loved ones grieve upon hearing the worst attainable news from the war front -- including in 52 cases over eight years of fighting in Iraq.

Such compassion-wrenching returns from that Middle Eastern nation will on the double become history. President Barack Obama announced Friday that the enormous majority of the more than 39,000 U.S. troops now stationed in Iraq, including about 3,500 from Fort Bliss, "will unequivocally be home for the holidays."

The decision set off shrieks and tears of joy among next of kin members of the deployed troops.

"Everybody was yelling and screaming and clapping and crying," recalled Denise Na, whose husband, John, deployed in July. "It was very emotional."

Queer highs and lows are nothing new for military spouses like Juvenile, who is the daughter of a 28-year Marine. Her husband -- a medic for the 4th Brigade of the 1st Armored Unit, which is based at Fort Bliss -- has been in the military for five years.
