EAST LANSING — Midland Dow faced tough event all season on the tennis courts and that didn't change much Friday at its Upset 2 regional tournament.
And like all season, the Chargers boys tennis conspire dominated against its tough foes, winning its third straight regional possession at East Lansing.
Midland Dow, the top-ranked team in Segment 2, earned 22 out of a possible 24 points, bewitching seven of the eight flights.
The Chargers picked up wins in No. 2-4 singles and all of the doubles flights. All of the victories came without dropping a set all day.
The lone capsize was at No. 1 singles, as Jon Templeman fell in the semifinals to East Lansing. Dow has now won the regional at East Lansing for three unembellished seasons.
