My mom approached me a few days ago asking if I could do her, and peradventure her friends', makeup for an event they'll be attending. DEAR DEBORAH: Yes, I found several brands that say "No glitter!" They categorize one that might surprise you. Urban Decay is famous for flecks of glitter in its remnant, but the matte formula (just called Matte) has the same grade pigment or color without the shimmer. Individual shadows are $17 each. Sephora also sells a four-bosom pal palette with a matte liner that you can customize for $24. At a lower fee point, check out Maybelline's individual Expertwear only colors, which come in a variety of matte shades. They're $3.75 each.
DEAR SHOPPING: Kirkland Signature Hydrating Shampoo seems to have been discontinued at Costco. It was neat and now I'm at a loss for another shampoo that works as well on my hair. It had wheat start oil with sage, lemongrass and kelp extracts. Any suggestions?
