Loulou de la Falaise, a Muse to Yves Saint Laurent, Dies

Loulou de la Falaise, a reflect to Yves Saint Laurent who was also a designer and a woman whose style resisted classification, died on Saturday at her hospice in the Vexin region of northwest France. She was 63.

Her death was announced by the Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent Underlying , which did not give a cause.

Ms. de la Falaise was synonymous with the bohemian Left Bank happy of Saint Laurent and with his 1970s-era entourage, whether it touched down for a weekend in Marrakesh or New York. She was skeletal and radiantly beautiful, with a wedge of curly blond curls and a crackling laugh. Her flair with clothes initially inspired Saint Laurent, who met her in 1968 at a tea fete given by the designer Fernando Sánchez, a mutual fellow. Over the next four decades many would be captivated by her.

In style as well as pedigree, Louise de la Falaise was a mix of French chic and Anglo-Irish eccentricity. She was born on May 4, 1947, in England. Her old lady, Maxime Birley, was a former model for Elsa Schiaparelli; her old boy, Alain de la Falaise, was a French count. Mark Birley, her uncle, founded Annabel’s nightclub in London.

Emily Blunt loves 'evocative' fragrance

Emily's new advertising campaign for the brand - where she plays a girl on the hunt for the Opium fragrance - will air in December and Emily revealed she was thrilled to merrymaking a role rather than simply pose with the product.

She said: "It was spine-tingling. I was given a story to play, and for me as an actress that's very exciting. I'm not well-founded posing or just trying to sell something."

Speaking about the essence previously she said: ""It is a really exciting face to embody this legendary fragrance, which has stood the test of heretofore without its allure ever being diminished. Being a part of this new campaign and being able to tell the summary of this very evocative fragrance is a real thrill."

Renaud de Lesquen, president of YSL & Architect Brands, explained the new campaign will portray "a fiery, almost fancy woman with magnetic seduction, that nobody or nothing can resist".
