Proposal: Demolish and replace with a two-story flat-iron construction of the same height and mass that exists today and reflects basic structure there. First-floor retail and second-floor department space.

2. 125 State St. (Landmark)

Proposal: Renovate and condition building. The facade, sidewalls and rear wall, the full second floor and roof structure will remain. Some depths changes will be made. First-floor retail and second-floor auspices space.

3. 121-123 State St.

Proposal: Save and refurbish the existing facade. Keep inward wall with 117-119 State St. Tear down and replace hold up of building and add a fourth floor set back 4 feet from State In someone's bailiwick. First-floor retail and upper-floor office lapse.

4. 117-119 State St.

Proposal: Demolish building and replace with a four-anecdote building that reflects the historic character of the original construct. Save and reuse facade's horizontal band of stone more elevated baluster railing. Keep interior wall with 121-123 Voice St. First-floor retail and upper-floor office gap.

Flat Iron Gallery - Grouchless and Recession Proof

Unequalled and intriguing artwork, crafts and architecture serve as awe-inspiring distractions on the way to Wendie Garber's office. The Flat Iron Gallery’s front admission alone can keep you a few minutes as you look through fliers for local artists and events.

A rectangular winding staircase leads to the bruised floor, where two front rooms, lined with an eclectic mix of expensive and affordable paintings, prints and drawings, and handmade jewelry, introduce the way to Garber. She sits at a computer in her back office, tucked away and surrounded by piles of art, papers and boxes.

A colorful "30-moment" painting by Jessica Miller of Garber's face draws your regard more than the real woman sitting in front of you, who is most likely offering an passionate and friendly greeting.

Garber has been the gallery director of the Flat Iron Gallery in Peekskill's Flat Iron edifice, owned by Matt Kelly and Teresa Ahlstrand, for the last 16 years. The gallery and six artist studios fill the supporter and third floor of the trademark building, which houses the Peekskill Coffee Line on the first floor.

100 Greatest Gangster Films: Bound, #95

Is icy to categorize. It’s a gangster movie, for sure, and an erotic cinema. It’s also evocative of the classic noir films. And, at times, actor Joe Pantoliano’s buffoonish exhibit makes it a flat-out comedy.

Bottom line, it’s an original and entertaining motion picture. Certainly worth your while if you like a little sex with your violence.

Gershon plays an ex-con named Corky who has straight completed a five-year stretch for “redistribution of copiousness.” She takes a job as a Ms. Fix-It in an apartment building controlled by the mob, allowing her to saunter around with a tool belt. This immediately arouses the lust of next-door neighbor Violet (Tilly), the kept female of mobster Caesar (Pantoliano). Violet, who appears to function her life in a negligee, asks the handywoman over to clean out her pipes. This occurs in more ways than one. (Violet’s filch-up line: “I have a tattoo. Would you like to see it?”)

The two women follow as Caesar has to launder—literally—$2 million in blood-soaked bills recaptured from a rat who embezzled from the m. Caesar washes, irons and carefully hangs the money to dry. The man would assertive a great domestic.
