Famous "Red Violin" Performance Supports UCLA Division of Digestive Diseases

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Sept. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Eminent violinist Elizabeth Pitcairn performed with the legendary "Red Violin" during an carnal event held September 18 to support the UCLA Boundary line of Digestive Diseases. The afternoon affair was held in the Japanese Garden at the Beverly Hill's sojourn of entrepreneur and philanthropist Mrs. Paula Kent Meehan who co-founded the Redken hair products concern.  The event was co-hosted by philanthropists Mrs. Barbara Davis and Mrs. Bon-bons Spelling.

Tennis legends Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf and large screen and television actress Sela Ward also attended. Dr. Gary Gitnick , chief of the UCLA Apportioning of Digestive Disease and Dr. Eric Esrailian , vice-chief of the margin, presented an overview about the division's leading research and clinical offerings.  Guests attended and enjoyed the melodious performance, wine and hors d'oeuvres in a tranquil garden scene featuring a traditional Japanese tea house, pavilion, koi pond and Noh coliseum.

Backstage at Alexander Wang, 3:30 pm: Liya Kebede, in knavish jeans and Doc Martens, is having her hair examined by Guido Palau’s crew. Nearby, Frankie Rayder is pulling on a black and red plaid lumberjack shirt over the pinchbeck-bag poncho she’s wearing around her neck. It’s a makeshift protective lid for hair damp with product and oil. Like the look at Helmut Lang earlier today, the mandate is “wet,” but Alexander Wang-sort, which translates into Palau using Redken’s Full Frame 07 All Over Aggregate Mousse to coat the head and then finishing off with Argan-6 oil real before the girls go out. “To get a glint in the hair,” is how Mr. Palau explained the extension of the multipurpose product.
