I'm sorry; I'm a fan of these boards, but I have to from beginning to end disagree here. Isn't ripping on Hollywood something that we do here? Why is it OK for us, but not for someone who has to get assaulted with all of its shortcomings on a continuously basis as part of his trade? Can Breitbart now not rip on the media because he's a part of it?
Kaufman is far from the first in the flesh to point out Hollywood's self-absorption, and often when people do they forth genius, regardless of their personal beliefs. Ever see The Player? Network? Tropic Shout? Living in Oblivion? The Wizard of Speed and Time? All incandescent movies, IMO, and for good reason.
Regarding Kaufman's toil I've seen Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine and Adaption. The two bookends I rationality were great, and Sunshine is one of my picks for top 10 movies of the 2000's decade. It's attainable he's done some work I won't like, but if he has, I have yet to see it.

I had never been to CC Nails before. The expense of just a pedicure is $30, which I found to be a bit high. Many salons in the Hillsborough courtyard charge $20 - $25, so I wondered what made their pedicure worth more. It's $38 for a mani/pedi combo, $12 for perfectly a manicure at the salon.
When I walked in, it seemed like a typical fastener salon atmosphere with six light green leather finagle chair pedicure stations, many manicure tables, and a waiting parade where customers could browse through magazines and pick out polishes. There was also a strapping drying area, complete with drying lights and fans, that could butt six people comfortably—you don’t have to bump elbows with the person next to you. The salon was as a rule in size, and they had enough nail stations to accommodate multiple appointments comfortably.
One feeling I noticed right away was that there was no harsh chemical sniff which sometimes permeates nail salons that do acrylic and other types of nails. I was very keen about that.
