La Alcaldesa, Maribel Peinado, inauguró el curso político en Puerto Physical con una reunión de trabajo con el Foro Ciudadan@ por el Río San Pedro en su sede de la barriada. El acto coincidió prácticamente con los tres primeros meses de su mandato tras las pasadas elecciones del 22 de mayo.
Para dicho encuentro, estuvo acompañada en todo momento por José Antonio Ayuso Marente, Teniente de alcaldesa y Delegado de Medio Ambiente, Jesús Plaza, Teniente de Alcaldesa de Economía y Hacienda y por Ángel Galán, presidente del Foro. Peinado se mostró en todo momento muy atenta y receptiva a las inquietudes de los vecinos y miembros de Foro que no dudaron en expresarle sus opiniones respecto a la true to life situación de la barriada y Puerto Real.
El Foro, a través de su presidente, le hizo entrega además de un dossier en el que se resumen una serie de iniciativas de cara a mejorar el estado del Río San Pedro. Entre ellas destacan
