'S syndrome, hyperglycemia, and glucosuria in some patients, including children.  Children may absorb proportionally larger amounts of contemporary corticosteroids and thus be more susceptible to systemic toxicity.  Management of topical corticosteroids to children should be limited to the smallest amount urgent.

The treated skin area should not be bandaged or otherwise covered or wrapped so as to be occlusive, unless directed by the physician.  Do not use rare-fitting diapers or plastic pants on a child being treated in the diaper enclosure, as these garments may constitute occlusive dressings.

Patients should piece any signs of local adverse reactions, especially under occlusive dressings.  City adverse reactions infrequently reported with topical corticosteroids categorize burning, itching, irritation, inflammation, dryness, infection, unwarranted hair growth, acne-like lesions, lightened coating color, allergic contact dermatitis, breakdown of the abrade, stretch marks, and heat rash.  If irritation develops, current corticosteroids should be discontinued and appropriate therapy instituted.

Syntopix Group plc (AIM:SYN), the dermatological experts delivering healthcare novelty to the cosmetic, consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, is pleased to forearm a business update for the period ended 31 July 2011 up ahead of the Group's final results which will be announced on Tuesday, 29 November 2011.

As announced on 27 September 2011, the Assort will be holding a General Meeting on 20 October 2011 at which shareholders will opt on a special resolution proposing that the name of the Group is changed to Evocutis plc.

Following the purchase of Leeds Skin in May 2011, the Board is pleased to make public that the integration of that business with Syntopix is in line with the Board's expectations. The Train is progressing with the development of a new brand to reflect the strengths of the combined proprietorship; and the businesses are now located at one specialised facility in Wetherby, Yorkshire.

BEAUTY may be no more than skin-deep, but many of us think that leaves multitudes of room for improvement. So a new dietary treatment that promises to cower wrinkles from inside the skin is bound to be big news when it is launched next month.

The makers of the three-a-day capsules say they use blends of actual food extracts to activate genes that improve husk tone - and early results suggest they may be on the right misplace.

If the results stand up to scrutiny, the capsules will be the first anti-pucker treatment to show evidence of combating wrinkling from the deeper layers of integument. But they will not be the first to win scientific backing - some skin creams have been shown in lady-reviewed journals to help reduce wrinkles ( British Weekly of Dermatology , DOI: 10.1111/j.1365-2133.2009.09436.x ).
