Office store gives teachers supplies

Two neighbourhood teachers received classroom resources and supplies donated by OfficeMax stores as part of a nationwide struggle last week.

Kathleen Beaupre, a teacher at Gompers Younger High School in Joliet, received $1,000 merit of supplies. Eddie Torba, store manager for the Lemont OfficeMax, visited the tutor to surprise Beaupre on Tuesday.

Jeannette Shereck, a teacher at A. Vito Martinez Stomach School in Romeoville, also received $1,000 worth of supplies. She received a new manage, a new printer, a digital camera and other supplies. Tony Andrews, department store manager for the Romeoville OfficeMax, visited the school.

The contributions were part of OfficeMax’s nationwide anyway in the reality “A Day Made Better” and its nonprofit partner Take in-A-Classroom. Tuesday marked the fifth anniversary of the experience. OfficeMax surprised 1,000 teachers with $1,000 each merit of school supplies.

The teachers were honored for their passion for teaching, their novelty in the classroom, and their dedication to the profession.

London Film Festival 2011 Diary Special: Dreileben

‘S Devid Streisow and Nina Hoss, and, perhaps more importantly, there is a like sense of nagging, dragging, unease about this film. This affair focuses on Johannes (Maschentz), a young medical admirer who is working at the hospital the convict escapes from, however, that plot only plays in the lost background, as Johannes strikes up a relationship with Ana (Mijovic), a smashing young woman whose mood swings tend to the last. The film focuses in close on this relationship. It could have just been your measure film about teenage lovers, but Ana’s almost Bipolar moods, the atmosphere that there are things in Ana’s past that she is keeping secret and the nuance of danger both from the guys Ana is hanging around with when we first meet her and a mysterious man covered in blood all add up to make a very uneasy atmosphere.

Set against this, Petzold shoots the film with a strikingly aesthetic eye. Compositions likely to the formal and colours are strikingly vivid, particularly red, which increases in equanimity towards the end of the film. If the film is formal, the performances lean heavily towards naturalism, with the strikingly wonderful Mijovic impressing by making a character who expresses herself almost line in extremes believable. Many will find the ending of this film deeply frustrating, but I literally like loose ends in the right films; they keep you belief, and the abrupt and mysterious close of parts) is quite a abundant film to it immediate predecessor; Dominic Graf’s camera is freer than Christian Petzold’s, more a engage in than an observer and his screenplay is much talkier, it’s a different categorize of film, and moves the overall genre from romantic thriller to home drama/thriller, but keeps that same undertone of tension, though for contrastive reasons.
