Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama made the above comments at the 2011 TFL Prime Clergyman's Exporter of the Year Awards held at the Sofitel Watering-place and Spa in Denarau.
He commended the tremendous efforts of the exporters who introduced Fiji's natural resources, Fijian adroitness and Fijian-made products to the world.
"These awards highlight the good fortune of our exporters at increasing Fiji's share of the global marketplace," said Commodore Bainimarama.
"Because of your travail, Fiji is growing exports and contributing to Fiji's advancement towards sustainable progress."
He said the recent National Budget would benefit the exporters to magnify its arms of services further.
"As I announced in my Budget address, our superintendence is offering a range of incentives for the resource-based sector and exporters, such as tax breaks, zero-rated tariffs and accelerated depreciation."

With jobs and possibility economic revitalization on the line, West Virginia officials are hoping to defeat out two other states for a major development opportunity.
Shell Chemicals officials recently stated they would be announcing where they would be insomuch as placement of an ethane cracker facility. The plant, which extracts the multipurpose chemical herald ethane from "wet" natural gas, offers hope to revitalize West Virginia's chemical enterprise.
"As we move forward with our development of this project, we are concentrating our search for an set aside site in three states: Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio," said Dan Carlson, usual manager of new business development for Shell Chemicals in an e-send response to questions regarding the announcement.
